We take an integrated and experiential approach, because that’s how transformation happens.

Our approach includes:

Contemporary neuroscience

examines the structure and function of our brains and nervous system. Coaching that effectively incorporates current neuroscience has been shown to support development of new neural networks, which allows us to develop new habits, to respond more calmly to stress, to access deeper levels of wisdom and creativity, and to be able to shape our lives and expand our ranges of choice and effective actions. This leads to more effective, successful, and fulfilling lives and greater impact on the world around us.

Creativity and Innovation tools

such as those incorporated into the design thinking process, help initiate personal change.  Originally used primarily to design innovative physical objects, design thinking can be readily applied to our personal and professional lives, offering us creative ways to imagine, test, and step into the next stage of our lives.

Trauma-informed somatic coaching

is a methodology that empowers us to harness the wisdom of the body to create lasting desired transformation. Working in this holistic way, we can better understand what is driving our behaviors and we can also practice new ways of doing and being.  This allows us to move beyond insight into embodying new behaviors and identities that support our well-being and our ability to positively impact the world around us.

Contemplative practices

enables us to be increasingly present—in heart, mind, spirit, and body—to what is happening inside and around us, which connects us with deeper resources that allow us to creatively respond to our lives and work toward what is possible.  There are many forms of contemplative practice including meditation, prayer, drumming, breathing practices, chanting, dance, martial arts, and more.
